Bringing a Ton of Dill to Market
Photo from Cooking with Samira
I’m growing so much dill. Maybe even too much. Is there such thing as too much dill? Anyways, I’m bringing a ton to market and if you buy $15 worth of vegetables you get a FREE bunch of dill. Each bunch is about 1/2 pound for $4.00. I think that’s a good deal. While supplies last so for the next two weeks.
If you’re wondering what to do will all that dill. Here’s a recipe for baghali polo (lima bean rice). This dish is the most classic Persian dish that uses dill as the main herb. Even though it calls for dried dill, you can use fresh no problem or both dried and fresh.
Baghali polo is usually paired with lamb shanks and served during celebrations but you can make it whenever you want, just don’t let this deal go to waste. See you at Silver Spring Farmers Market, open from 9 to 1 rain or shine.
