Mystery Solved?The Result of the Mystery Tomato Experiment

Back in April, I wrote about my Dad growing some mystery tomatoes (aka mislabeled) that a farmer friend gave me. Now it’s August, and it did turn into a barely manageable tomato forest. But all my Dad’s work paid off, and the tomatoes are producing more than I expected! I’m still not entirely sure what varieties they all are, but most of them are cherry tomatoes with a few heirloom and sauce tomatoes mixed in.

So to all aspiring gardeners, you don’t need special equipment or the perfect setup to start a project. The plants are in random pots and buckets held up with bamboo, and the fence is made of old netting. Although it would’ve definitely made harvesting easier if there was more space between plants. What I’m saying is just start; the details will come later. When I build my greenhouse in the next few years, I’ll do it like the pros do, neat and organized.
